Narrative - Lost and Found

A lonely little girl sat at home
At home she was always alone
She murdered and lynched all her dolls
Wandered around in the halls
She met a young boy
A dangerous boy
Got her into bad things
Took her to drug rings
She became an addict
Couldn't break the habit
Heroin was cruel
She was such a fool
She believed she belonged
To that group, she was wrong
Spent her days in her closet
Kept rigs in her wallet
Hallucinations consumed her
She was a disaster
She lay on the floor
Behind the closet door
With a spoon and a lighter
She pulled an all-nighter
Everything went black
Thought she'd never come back
Needle in her arm
Her skin wasn't warm
No pulse, tainted blood
Spilling out of her wrists like a flood
A miracle came
She woke up to the rain
Looked outside
Realized what happened and cried
She made a commitment
Right then and there she would quit
And she did, she won
Her transformation had begun
